Kirant is an ancient people with flourishing traditional and cultural era. Property elevate poverty so it is better to keep name Kirant Province than Koshi and Sagarmatha. Because there are many reasons and benefits behind Kirant Province. Kirant is not religion, it is a civility, and we must preserve it. This is our property, it shines our country’ dignity and sovereignty. If we kept name Kirant, then tourism will enrich in this province even around Nepal. We can clarify them from origin to till (culture, tradition, living etc).
Kirant itself behold a huge history of Nepal. Sagarmatha and Koshi they are still existing and people are aware of these names and they will exist for a long era. But it does not exist yet, Kirant name, it is about to vanish from Nepal. So, we must preserve and bring it to existence. Sagarmatha and Koshi also ornament/property of us at the same level we must exist Kirant together. It will be ruined if we ostracize Kirant from our Country.
When we go through the history of Nepal, it refulgent with the pride and dignity which we are proudly saying to anyone. Kirant has a long history which appreciated by many dynasties and books. So we must know that Kirant is not religion, there is no word ‘religion’ in Kirant lexicon. If anyone thinks it is religion, then he\she is wicked. If you proud to be Nepali, then you must feel privileged to own abide Kirant. We Kirant people still we worship nature and ancestors. So we have no religion, only traditions and cultures.
Therefore, I request all the Nepalese people who have fathom love towards our country please go for lobbying Kirant province.

I read news yesterday, 'patient died cause of insufficient ventilator,' in BPKIHS, Dharan. We have been hearing this types of news from long ago. But why are we Dharane people not serious about this issue? Almost Daharane people are plunged into drugs and whoever provides a set of snacks and petrol. In every corner of the cafe, people talk about fighting, drugs and hooligan. When will we stand with our deviance cognition?
In the name of facility, we have a Hospital BP only. There are no other facilities like government offices and airport. We want to lose BP hospital too? Why are we unable to handle this hospital? Are we visionless? if not then we have to pressurize to the administration for the quality service and increase the volume of the ventilator. Where everyone from the lower grass root patient can get access to ICU department. Many patients are dying because of lack of access towards the intensive care unit. So we have to awaken from catnap to brighten our vision of sight for betterment of the hospital and coming generation. We have to raise our voice against the corruption and political encroachment within such a sensitive area.
Therefore, I request all the people who hail from Dharan don't run behind hype and faff which you are doing a moment before and now on broaden your cognition then take a step for ameliorate.
Recently, two cases of acid attack published in different
news portals. People shouted harshly and
rebuke to the attackers and law makers. These type of heinous crime is rampant.
But the government crime bureau is
oblivious about the cases.
A year ago, I went to the crime bureau with the formal letter
with the request to provide the data of acid attack cases. But result was
shocking, they don’t have data and they are oblivion about this case, they just
said we have only one case of Ms Magar and Mr BK.
Mostly girls are the victims but boys aren’t untouched by
this case. As we know in India, there are many cases regarding acid doused. And
somehow, the Nepalese perpetrators also influenced by neighbouring country
India. The common reason why they throw acid on victim' face is unsuccessful
love affairs and jilted lover. Who does not want her\his exquisite complexion,
which he did not get succeed to own (vengeance of rejection).
It has been found that when people think like if she can't be
mine, I will not let her to be of anyone, plays a great deal in such attacks.
Jilted lover and breaking up relationship are the major reason for acid
attack. Some of the acid survivors are
Pabitra, acid attacked by Alam, who was also jilted lover and he wanted to
disfigure her beautiful face. A 20 year old woman, Jenny was attacked with acid
in Kalopul. 15 year old Muskan was attacked with acid on Sep in Birjunj. While
sitting at Basantapur, two teenagers were attacked with acid on Feb 22, 2015,
Sangita 16 and Sima 15.
Rajaram Thapa was acid attacked by his wife, who is
inhabitant of Nuwakot. In this case victim is male.
These are some examples but there are so many victims, who
are struggling to survive and fighting for the justice.
Why this case is increasing?
There are two basic reasons;
i) Easy access to the
acid ii) insufficient legal aspect
It seems, it is a normal phenomenon but someone's life is
devastated and ruined, victim has to face pain as well as odious lifelong. And
some can't bear the pain and odious then commit suicide. So we must play the
vital role as expressing empathy instead sympathy.
Therefore, we must amend the law for regulate the acid
attackers. Perpetrators should be imprisonment lifelong and should provide
license to acid distributors. Only who has authority to sell acid should record
and purpose of use.
In every newspaper, there we can see or read sad and flout news. As if that position is the prerogative property of tainted leaders and administrative staffs. We have been reading news that tainted persons are taking place of top executive administrators' position of Nepal. Who are not qualified and good characters, such people are taking a position in the nexus of power and money. Who are brilliant and capable, they are aban don behind according to their corrupt mind set. Not only top level leaders and staffs are taking bribery but this nexus is top-to-bottom level in our country, no one is competent to perform their task or service to the pupil.
Dr. Pawan Chamling says if you want to provide service then be a servant and do politics, if you want to earn money do business but in our country the opposite. Everyone is indulging in bribery and nonproductive in the name of politics. These types of pejorative culture are increasing day by day. Because of this culture, they compel pupils to go to depression and commit suicide this is a repercussion of incompetent government, their hard work not getting any fruits or any pay off that means in vain. So they are being indolent due to filthy politics. There is no pleasant environment to study and get a job or business in any discipline that is why people are desperately deadly alive.
Our political and administrative system are like boss and servant, only that. Pupils are always treating as servant, and political leaders and administrative staffs are as boss. A huge hierarchy between government and civilians. We have been facing such a disaster system till now. So, is this democracy and parity? Therefore, I suggest to government and its bodies, please be as much as flexible and creative to serve your service persons do not bother them in trivial things. Because you are service providers as a servant who does every work for his\her owner with little expectation. Be an invigorating for the entire nation.

We know
none of the government is competent. It does not satisfy us with the
performance. Everywhere we can see pitfalls and incompetency. Government and
its bodies are deep delving into the bribery and bringing their relatives to
occupy the position (nepotism).
Government has fully failed to fulfill the basic needs of famished people.
All the
leaders are a failure; they have no sense of humour about leadership. They are
all notorious looters, cheaters and guilers. They have learned how to hoax and
extortion others. They forgot their ground reality because of tainted
cognition. In Nepal, ‘leaders equal to tainted’ this thought automatically
comes in our head. Specially, political leaders evolve around the extortion and
bribery; no one is untouched by corruption. When we will be free from that
guided thought leader equals to tainted? We forgot all the qualities of
leadership cause of our political leaders. Leader word is very weighty and
intellectual itself, which everybody tempt to grasp it but in Nepal, if someone
spoke about leaders within communities then people hate this word why?
Why our
government is an oblivious regarding our treasures and sources of the nation.
Recently, government burnt the houses of Chepang, which are intolerable and
scornful. Chepang is our treasure and endanger people in the world. Instead of
preserving them, government is encroaching their houses. They are the king of
the jungle, so they must be free in their territory. But government is
discriminating with their caste, government recently handover the luxury house
to Jhamak Ghimire but what they did to Chepang community is catastrophe. So I
highly condemn these types of discrimination within the country. They have
equal rights to live.
Who are Chepang?
The Chepang indigenous people reside in the secluded districts of
Dhading, Chitwan, Gorkha and Makwanpur in Nepal. Chepang speaks their own
language, known as Chyo-bang by the locals. They are known to be nomadic,
making use of the resources in the forestry for hunting and gathering. The
Chepangs generally depend on jungle for their sustainability and also involve
in little-scale farming and cultivation. The nomadic existence of the Chepangs
has been largely limited, thus they have made villages, living in homes made by
branches. Men and women are treated mostly as equals, although the family organization
is mostly patriarchal. Family is significant in the culture, with comprehensive
family sharing homes.
They have a big number of traditional
and religious practices. Their own
festival is called ‘Nwagi’, which takes place on in the month of Bhadra. The
ritual of Kulain Puja is widely perceived, revering their deceased ancestors.
Their key festival is 'Bhui Jyasa'/Bhumi puja (prayer to the land). They
also worship Chiuri trees. They excerpt butter from its seeds. Butter
trees are often gifted as a dowry to Chepang daughters when they get wedded.
Thus, Chiuri trees plays a vital role in Cchepang community, their rituals and
festivals are performed mostly by the priest, known as 'Pandes'.
Therefore, our government should
treat equally to every pupil within the fixed territory of Nepal. It is very
sad those who have no power and position always have to suffer in trivial a
thing that is lively example is that army shot a Chepang boy, where he was
searching Ghugi a kind of food to feed for his family. But there is no any
vehement action on perpetrators. We request to government please see and treat
with the same glass of spectacle to everyone.

Honesty is the best policy. There are no bigger rules than honesty. Most of the people are insane in our country. They are from parliament, administration, civil society, etc. Almost our path pavers are neglecting the honesty. They are arousing the feelings of whatever I like I Can do, nobody can beat me or imprison me. These kinds of arrogant feelings destroying their inner honesty. So people are becoming bull headed. Even they don’t know what should I do or what is my delimit and responsibility. If there is no honesty then equivalent to animals. If there is no honesty obviously, there is no justice. It is an ample example within the country round Nepal. Then what is our practice for? Is this positive or negative?
Can we develop an honesty? How and where? Yes! Then we must teach to our path pavers, otherwise it is hard to preserve people as an intellectual. My family always taught me a moral lesson and what is honesty. Sometimes I feel very disappointed toward myself because of my much loyalty. I am getting hard to live on within the insane people around.
Nepal is a very historic country, which used to bedominatedby the many dynasties in the past. Among them, the Kirat rule
is taken as a very enormous one, being the longest length that prolonged from pre-historic to the historical period. In historic Hindu scriptures, Nepal is referred to as
the “Kirat Desh” or “the Land of Kirats”.
The Kirat Rai belong to the Kirati group or the Kirat confederation
that consists of the Rai, Limbu, Yakkha and Sunuwar, Dhimal, Hayu,
Koche, Thami, Chepang, and Surel ethnic clan additionallyreflect
on themselves to be of Kirati origin. The place of origin of the Rai extends throughout the Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga, Khotang,
Bhojpur, Dhankuta and the Udayapur districts in the northeastern
hilly/mountainous area of Nepal, west of the Arun River in the Sun Koshi River
watershed. Rais is additionallyobserved in substantial numbers in the Indian nation of Sikkim and the northern West Bengal cities of Kalimpong and Darjeeling. According to Nepal’s 2001 census, there are
635,751 Rai in Nepal which represents 2.79% of the complete population.
Language & Script:
Kirat Rai speaks more than 32 unique languages and dialects inside the Tibeto-Burman languages family. The oral
language is prosperous and ancient in Kirati history, however, the written script to be rightgeared up as almost all traces of it used to be destroyed via the subsequent rulers of Nepal. Nearly Rais languages eradicated by the Lichhavis, Malla and Shah dynasty. The Rais are divided into many special sub-groups – Bantawa, Chamling, Sampang,
Dumi, Jerung, Kulung, Khaling, Lohorung, Mewahang, Rakhali, Thulung, Tilung,
Wambule, Yakkha, Yamphu, Sunuwar, Ambule, etc. Some corporationssolely a few hundred members only. Every sub-group talkdistinctive languages.
The Kirat Rai has their Kiranti
script. It disappeared for many years and reintroduced via Sirijonga in the seventeenth century. This Sirijonga, who used to be believed to be the reincarnation of the
first, was onceinterestingly martyred in 1743 for the sake of this script by the Sikkim Lamas, who tied him
to a tree and flung poison arrows at him. The script used to be named ‘Sirijonga’ in his honour via the Limbu student Iman Singh Chemjong in 1925.
Religion & Culture:
Nakchong (the Rai priest)
The ordinary Kirati religion is predating than Hinduism
and Buddhism, which based on
ancestor-worship and the placation of ancestor spirits with rituals ruledusing policiesknown as Mundum. Sumnima and Paruhang are worshipped as
primordial parents. Sikatakhu Budo, Walmo Budi, and Jalpa Devi, amongst others, serve as Kirati deities. A foremost Rai excursion is the harvest festival, Nwogi, when freshly
harvested meals are shared with the aid of all. The Bijuwa or Nakchhung or Priest performs an essentialposition in Rai communities.
The Rai people can be described as worshippers of nature. When the natural worldstarts to evolve transferring to the mountain hills of the Himalayan degreeswhilst the seeds were sown in the fields utilizing the tribes develop and bloom with flowers, the tribes operate Sakewa puja which consists of dancing and singing. The dance is known as Silli and mimics the actions of birds and animals all through their migration. The overall performance of Sakewa puja is led by using the Nakchong (the Rai priest) or via the head of a necessaryhousehold in his absence. During Sakewa puja contraptions such as the Dhol, the Jyamta, the Bow and Arrow,
the Wabuk, the Yak tail, and the cock and chicken are used. After Sakewa Puja, the Rai neighbourhood is banned from taking part in any musical instruments till after they have carried out the harvest festival, Udhauwli. At this time
the birds and the animals return from the mountain hills to the low lands and puja Silli is completed.
Himal Ma Vi, Hedangna Golechaur 3, Rural Municipality Makalu
On
dated 28th Magh, 2074, Continuous 3 hours of walking from Bakle, we reached
Himal Ma Vi, Hedangna Golechaur at 3 PM with my team. Students were about to
return home from school because of class 10 test examination. We observed school’s territory, buildings,
sanitation and playground which are wonderful. We stayed near the school of
Yamphu Rai’s house. Another day we visited early before assembly, we saw
different types of assembly there such as they do attendance (Presents) of
students at the assembly time which were new for us.
We
introduced ourselves and had discussed with teachers about our survey/research
and purpose of visiting schools. Then we went to the office and introduced each
other briefed out the background of our organization. We visited computer lab there were 5
desktops, colour printers, photocopy machine and 2 laptops in lab room. There
are also facilities of the science lab and library too. But unmanaged and lack
of habit of study couldn’t light up the face of library room. We found water
tape and friendly toilet over there but not well maintain and proper use of it.
Head
sir coordinated with us very friendly manner, he did very well execution to run
school in the present state. He shared his story to bring the school in this
stage. He did the movement with the support of students to achieved local
budget for the sake of school. He has reciprocal relationship with SMC
president and staffs of school.I did
not see good management of an office and ledger (files). They are taking much
time to providing respective files or documents at that moment. They are
keeping files and documents haphazardly, also they are not hanging and
posting/sticking calendar, schedule, routine, informative poster, notice board etc.
proper way. They posted some pamphlet messy and improperly. Somehow Head sir
and community doing best for their school's quality of education and physical
assets. They are hiring math teacher from Terai region that is also good
initiation of School.
We
asked about resources of school but nothing at all behind their donated amount.
I am pleased to know that they are handling that amount very properly and
managing some sort of training or activities from interest money. They give
credit amount within teaching staffs with the authority of SMC president in the
rate of 18% interest and deduct by her/his salary.
Overall,
community people are aware about educating their children but due to household
works they did not get enough time to study at home. I saw very poor government
initiation toward education sector, we visited many schools but government
providing only girls scholarship within many others optional scholarship. Most
of the visited schools were constructed and funded by other organizations.
There are no sufficient teachers and budget to run school according to school
head.
On dated 22nd Phalgun, 2074, after the 13 hours of travelling, we reached in Tansen, Palpa at 8:30 AM. We Palpali team descended to Palpa bus park then we asked the local person about Palpa and district education office. Also, we took information about our school locating areas. We ate lunch in Palpali Hotel, after finishing our meal we moved to DEO of Palpa. We met the head of DEO, she helped us to make the letter to our selected schools. After completion of our district task we visited Palpa’s Sen Durbar, it is very wonderful and attractive architecture made by late. Sen King. This building reconstructed as the same design with materials used before. Then we decided to visit another famous place of Nepal which located at Palpa; that is Rani Mahal. We took Hulas Mustang van and after one hour of the ride, we reached Rani Mahal. Its distance from Tansen is 17 KM. This Rani Mahal constructed before 120 years ago in the name of the queen, which designed by the British engineer.
Next day, we went to the Tower for scene sight, from top of the Tower we viewed all Tansen bazaar and territory of Palpa. After completion of our lunch, we started our journey from Tansen to Mujhung, approximately 2:30 hours of travelling we reached Mujhung. We took our snacks then asked for sheltering at night but we didn’t get a positive response from them. So, we called SMC president, he helped us to find a home for a stay, he took us toward the home to stay. He is so helpful, in his execution period many constructive and fruitful tasks have been executing.
Next day, we reached Kalika secondary school with one of the teachers before the assembly. We observed buildings. Toilets, water tank, garden, playground, compound, etc within the territory of school. Buildings are very good, enough classroom, ECD room with carpeting. There are three buildings one is concretely constructed with the help of Room to Read and another district governmental donation. ECD room is very friendly with the learning environment and easy sitting arrangement in a sofa with round table for common study. There is counselling room also this is one of the extra new than other schools.
Headteacher and SMC president found very genuine, they always spoke truth and fact. They encourage them who are capable and skilful in the selection of any discipline, they also threaten school superintendent; don’t mess with capability and ability of competitors. We found teachers cooperative and reciprocal relationship each of them with each other. Head sir recorded all students’ progress report on file; that is also an indicator of measuring students’ knowledge. They do quiz contest in every assembly above class 3-10 turn by turn. Water is very much scarcity in this area but they have managed water tank for drinking. The school environment is very friendly and learnable. They also get budget from the government for another building to construct. Mujhung community is mixed with Magar and Chhetri. School office room is good; every teacher has his/her table and related books. They have posted their necessary time table schedule and information on the wall. But there were not very neat and clean tablecloths and other posting pamphlets. Head sir also coordinated with us very friendly and told us to give written feedback.
