We know
none of the government is competent. It does not satisfy us with the
performance. Everywhere we can see pitfalls and incompetency. Government and
its bodies are deep delving into the bribery and bringing their relatives to
occupy the position (nepotism).
Government has fully failed to fulfill the basic needs of famished people.
All the
leaders are a failure; they have no sense of humour about leadership. They are
all notorious looters, cheaters and guilers. They have learned how to hoax and
extortion others. They forgot their ground reality because of tainted
cognition. In Nepal, ‘leaders equal to tainted’ this thought automatically
comes in our head. Specially, political leaders evolve around the extortion and
bribery; no one is untouched by corruption. When we will be free from that
guided thought leader equals to tainted? We forgot all the qualities of
leadership cause of our political leaders. Leader word is very weighty and
intellectual itself, which everybody tempt to grasp it but in Nepal, if someone
spoke about leaders within communities then people hate this word why?
Why our
government is an oblivious regarding our treasures and sources of the nation.
Recently, government burnt the houses of Chepang, which are intolerable and
scornful. Chepang is our treasure and endanger people in the world. Instead of
preserving them, government is encroaching their houses. They are the king of
the jungle, so they must be free in their territory. But government is
discriminating with their caste, government recently handover the luxury house
to Jhamak Ghimire but what they did to Chepang community is catastrophe. So I
highly condemn these types of discrimination within the country. They have
equal rights to live.
Who are Chepang?
The Chepang indigenous people reside in the secluded districts of
Dhading, Chitwan, Gorkha and Makwanpur in Nepal. Chepang speaks their own
language, known as Chyo-bang by the locals. They are known to be nomadic,
making use of the resources in the forestry for hunting and gathering. The
Chepangs generally depend on jungle for their sustainability and also involve
in little-scale farming and cultivation. The nomadic existence of the Chepangs
has been largely limited, thus they have made villages, living in homes made by
branches. Men and women are treated mostly as equals, although the family organization
is mostly patriarchal. Family is significant in the culture, with comprehensive
family sharing homes.
They have a big number of traditional
and religious practices. Their own
festival is called ‘Nwagi’, which takes place on in the month of Bhadra. The
ritual of Kulain Puja is widely perceived, revering their deceased ancestors.
Their key festival is 'Bhui Jyasa'/Bhumi puja (prayer to the land). They
also worship Chiuri trees. They excerpt butter from its seeds. Butter
trees are often gifted as a dowry to Chepang daughters when they get wedded.
Thus, Chiuri trees plays a vital role in Cchepang community, their rituals and
festivals are performed mostly by the priest, known as 'Pandes'.
Therefore, our government should
treat equally to every pupil within the fixed territory of Nepal. It is very
sad those who have no power and position always have to suffer in trivial a
thing that is lively example is that army shot a Chepang boy, where he was
searching Ghugi a kind of food to feed for his family. But there is no any
vehement action on perpetrators. We request to government please see and treat
with the same glass of spectacle to everyone.
There are no bigger rules than honesty. Most of the people are insane in our country. They are from parliament, administration, civil society, etc. Almost our path pavers are neglecting the honesty. They are arousing the feelings of whatever I like I Can do, nobody can beat me or imprison me. These kinds of arrogant feelings destroying their inner honesty. So people are becoming bull headed. Even they don’t know what should I do or what is my delimit and responsibility. If there is no honesty then equivalent to animals. If there is no honesty obviously, there is no justice. It is an ample example within the country round Nepal. Then what is our practice for? Is this positive or negative?
Can we develop an honesty? How and where? Yes! Then we must teach to our path pavers, otherwise it is hard to preserve people as an intellectual. My family always taught me a moral lesson and what is honesty. Sometimes I feel very disappointed toward myself because of my much loyalty. I am getting hard to live on within the insane people around.
