Palpa, Nepal

Palpa, Nepal
On dated 22nd Phalgun, 2074, after the 13 hours of travelling, we reached in Tansen, Palpa at 8:30 AM. We Palpali team descended to Palpa bus park then we asked the local person about Palpa and district education office. Also, we took information about our school locating areas. We ate lunch in Palpali Hotel, after finishing our meal we moved to DEO of Palpa. We met the head of DEO, she helped us to make the letter to our selected schools. After completion of our district task we visited Palpa’s Sen Durbar, it is very wonderful and attractive architecture made by late. Sen King. This building reconstructed as the same design with materials used before. Then we decided to visit another famous place of Nepal which located at Palpa; that is Rani Mahal. We took Hulas Mustang van and after one hour of the ride, we reached Rani Mahal. Its distance from Tansen is 17 KM. This Rani Mahal constructed before 120 years ago in the name of the queen, which designed by the British engineer.

Next day, we went to the Tower for scene sight, from top of the Tower we viewed all Tansen bazaar and territory of Palpa. After completion of our lunch, we started our journey from Tansen to Mujhung, approximately 2:30 hours of travelling we reached Mujhung. We took our snacks then asked for sheltering at night but we didn’t get a positive response from them. So, we called SMC president, he helped us to find a home for a stay, he took us toward the home to stay.  He is so helpful, in his execution period many constructive and fruitful tasks have been executing.
Next day, we reached Kalika secondary school with one of the teachers before the assembly. We observed buildings. Toilets, water tank, garden, playground, compound, etc within the territory of school. Buildings are very good, enough classroom, ECD room with carpeting. There are three buildings one is concretely constructed with the help of Room to Read and another district governmental donation. ECD room is very friendly with the learning environment and easy sitting arrangement in a sofa with round table for common study. There is counselling room also this is one of the extra new than other schools.

Headteacher and SMC president found very genuine, they always spoke truth and fact. They encourage them who are capable and skilful in the selection of any discipline, they also threaten school superintendent; don’t mess with capability and ability of competitors. We found teachers cooperative and reciprocal relationship each of them with each other. Head sir recorded all students’ progress report on file; that is also an indicator of measuring students’ knowledge. They do quiz contest in every assembly above class 3-10 turn by turn. Water is very much scarcity in this area but they have managed water tank for drinking. The school environment is very friendly and learnable. They also get budget from the government for another building to construct. Mujhung community is mixed with Magar and Chhetri. School office room is good; every teacher has his/her table and related books. They have posted their necessary time table schedule and information on the wall. But there were not very neat and clean tablecloths and other posting pamphlets. Head sir also coordinated with us very friendly and told us to give written feedback.

Bhedetar a heart of Eastern Nepal

Bhedetar is a small hill station situated in the eastern region of Nepal. This is a border between Dhankuta and Sunsari district.  According to the historic chronicle, there were shed of sheep several years ago. So, this place name remained as Bhedetar. Due to the good facility of transportation and hotel this place is so popular now a day. Generally, the local people of Terai who are tired of sunny days love to visit this cold hill station. It is situated at one thousand four hundred and twenty meters from sea level and almost always covered by fogy. We can easily reach this place by picking a bus or taxi from Bhanu Chowk, Dharan.

Bhedetar is a developing tourist spot. It is a small hill station just 16 kilometres away from Dharan Sub-metropolis. It is famous for its unpredictable weather - a moment it hides in the blanket of thick fog and another moment it reveals itself as the crown of urban Dharan.
The main attraction of Bhedetar is its cold weather, fresh food and the view we can see from here. On a clear day, we can view the beautiful city Dharan sitting on the lap of a hill from this place. Similarly, we can view the Char Kose Jhadi (The dense jungle), Dhankuta bazaar and the river Saptakoshi. We can also view the mountains on the north and Dhankuta Bazar from this place.
The viewing point is the place of attraction for all. A viewpoint at the top of a hill makes you feel like you are flying in the sky with the fog when you reach this place. The viewpoint is also known as Charles Point name after Prince Charles. There is another park newly constructed that is Sankha (Snail Shell) park.
The forest full of Rhododendron is also the attraction of this place. If you didn't get a chance to visit the Main Pathivari temple then here is another Pathivari mandir 5 min walkway distance from Bhedetar. It is the entrance for Hile, Dhankuta, Basantapur, Rajarani, Okhrae, Bhojpur, Sankhuwasava and Taplejung.
Another attraction of Bhedetar is the waterfall, about five kilometres down from the Bhedetar bazar there is a waterfall named "Namaste Jharna" (Namaste Waterfall). We can reach this waterfall after a walk of around fifteen minutes from the main road. The path to reach this waterfall is a little difficult but when we reach these falls; we forget all the pain to walk on the narrow road on a high slope hill. The sound of water and the view of the waterfall makes you assume that you are in heaven. It is the best gift of nature.
Bhedetar is now a well-managed tourism area, where tourists from various countries come to enjoy their holidays, vacation, spent good times with family, relatives and loved ones.

Amazing Benefits Of Holy Basil – Tulsi

The health benefits of holy basil, also known as tulsi, include oral care, relief from respiratory disorders, as well as treatment of fever, asthma, lung disorders, heart diseases, and stress. It has endless miraculous and medicinal values and has been worshiped and highly valued in Nepal for thousands of years.
Even going close to a tulsi plant can protect you from many infections. A few leaves dropped in drinking water or food can purify and kill the germs within as well. Even smelling it or keeping it planted in a pot indoors can protect the whole family from infections, cough, cold, and other viral infections. So that they may keep safe from day-to-day infections.

Cures Fever
The miraculous healing properties of Holy basil come mainly from its essential oils and the phytonutrients in it. Holy basil is an excellent antibiotic, germicidal, fungicidal, and disinfectant agent and very effectively protects our body from all sorts of bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Fever is mainly caused due to infections from protozoa (malaria), bacteria (typhoid), viruses (flu), and even allergic substances and fungus. Fever is not actually an ailment in itself. It is just a symptom which shows that our body is fighting against less visible infections. The tremendous disinfectant, germicidal, and fungicidal properties of tulsi destroy all those pathogens discussed above and heal the resulting fever. It is an old practice in India to have a decoction of tulsi leaves and flowers in case anyone is suffering from a fever.
Cures Respiratory Disorders
Tulsi, along with curing viral, bacterial, and fungal infections of the respiratory system, gives miraculous relief from congestion due to the presence of components like camphene, eugenol, and cineole in its essential oils. It is very effective in curing almost all respiratory disorders including bronchitis, both chronic and acute.
Treats Asthma
Tulsi is very beneficial in the treatment of asthma since it relieves congestion and facilitates smoother breathing. The phytonutrients and essential oils, along with the other minerals in it, help cure some of the underlying causes of asthma as well.
Prevents Lung Disorders
The compounds like vitamin C, camphene, eugenol, and cineole present in the essential oils of tulsi not only cure the infections in the lungs but also cure the congestion in them. Furthermore, they are found to be effective in healing the damages caused to the lungs due to smoking, tuberculosis, and prevents lung cancer. It also helps to cure tuberculosis due to its antibiotic properties.
Prevents Heart Diseases
Holy basil contains vitamin C and other antioxidants such as eugenol, which protect the heart from the harmful effects of free radicals. Additionally, eugenol is very beneficial in reducing the cholesterol levels in the blood.
Reduces Stress
Vitamin C and other antioxidants in Holy Basil, apart from repairing damages done by free radicals, also minimize the stress caused by these oxidants. They soothe the nerves, lower blood pressure, reduce inflammation, and thus reduce stress. Potassium, in Tulsi, also reduces blood pressure-related stress by replacing sodium and loosening the tensed blood vessels.
Mouth Freshener
Tulsi is an excellent mouth freshener and an oral disinfectant and its freshness last for a very long time. Holy Basil destroys more than 99% of germs and bacteria in the mouth and this effect can last all day. It also cures ulcers in the mouth. Finally, it is known to inhibit the growth of oral cancer which can be caused by chewing tobacco.

Dental Care
Holy basil destroys the bacteria that are responsible for dental cavities, plaque, tartar, and bad breath, while also protecting the teeth. It also has astringent properties which make the gums hold the teeth tighter, thereby keeping them from falling. However, tulsi also has certain compounds like mercury, which has rich germicidal properties that can be harmful to the teeth if kept in direct contact for too long. Therefore, it is advised to avoid chewing these leaves. It is actually discussed in holy books and Ayurvedic teachings that chewing these leaves robs them of their holiness. However, it has no harm if you do not chew it or consume its decoction.
Prevents Kidney Stones
Tulsi, being a detoxifier and a mild diuretic, helps to reduce the uric acid level in the body, which is the main culprit as far as kidney stones are concerned. It also helps clean out the kidneys through increased frequency of urination. Acetic acid and certain components in Tulsi essential oil facilitate dissolution of the stones. Finally, it has pain-killer effects and helps bear the pain from kidney stones as they pass.
Skin Care
Try taking a bath with a decoction of Holy basil mixed with your bath water, washing your face with it, or simply applying the paste of its leaves on an infected area of the skin in case of skin diseases. You can just consume tulsi leaves and still manage to keep your skin free from all infections. Rubbing holy basil leaves or its extracted oil on the body keeps mosquitoes and other insects away. It cures skin disorders both internally and externally, without any side effects. This property mainly comes from its essential oils, which are highly antibiotic, disinfectant, antibacterial, and antifungal in nature. External application on the skin also removes extra oil from the surface of the skin. Camphene in it gives a soothing and a cooling effect.
Relieves Headache
A headache caused due to a migraine, sinus pressure, cough, and cold or high blood pressure can be effectively controlled by the use of a single tulsi serving. Camphene, eugenol, cineol, carvacrol, and methyl-chavicol, in holy basil, have excellent analgesic, sedative, anti-congestive, and disinfectant properties.
Prevents Premature Aging
Vitamin C and A, phytonutrients, and the essential oils in Holy Basil are excellent antioxidants and protect the body from nearly all the damages caused by free radicals in the body, which are hazardous by products of cellular metabolism that are responsible for a wide swath of diseases, including cancer. In the traditional Indian medicine system called Ayurveda, it is considered as a tonic to retain youthful vigour and avoid premature aging.
Boosts Immunity
Holy Basil is so good for boosting up the immune system that it is hard to describe it in words. It protects against nearly all infections from viruses, bacteria, fungi, and protozoa. Recent studies show that it is also helpful in inhibiting the growth of HIV and carcinogenic cells.
Eye Care
Wash your eyes daily with a few leaves of basil soaked in water and you will be free from conjunctivitis, boils, and many other problems of the eyes which are caused due to viral, bacterial, or fungal infections. It also soothes eye inflammation and reduces stress. Regular consumption can protect your eyes from the damage done by free radicals, such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, vision defects, and ophthalmia, due to the high antioxidant content of its essential oils, vitamin A, and vitamin C.
Other Benefits
It can protect your body from radiation poisoning and also heal the damages from that sort of condition. It can be given after a surgery to help heal wounds quickly and also to protect those areas from infections. It acts as a vaccine against pox if consumed regularly. It is an anticarcinogenic and is found to be effective in healing nearly all types of cancers and tumours. Being an expectorant is one of the most prized properties of Holy basil, making it very efficient in curing cough and cold. It is beneficial in reducing labour pain, destroying rabies germs, treating gastroenteritis, cholera, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rheumatism, nausea, septic, urinary and genital infections, and destroying worms in the stomach. Furthermore, its dried leaves can be mixed with food grains to be used as an insect repellent.
Perhaps, you should just find out how amazing it can be for yourself!

If you want to learn English to Bantawa review and link are given below;

Bantawa language is widely spoken languages among Rai people, an important subgroup of the Kiranti group of Tibeto-Burman languages. This dictionary, based on material obtained in the context of the Linguistic Survey of Nepal, concise though it is, stands out as the most voluminous of the few dictionaries and word lists for Rai languages that were hitherto published with English equivalents of native forms provided. The fact that both a Bantawa-English and an English-Bantawa part give access to the forms makes the book an important research tool for specialists in Kiranti languages as well as for scholars concerned with Tibeto-Burman and Nepal studies in general.

And if you have more time you can extend 3 days hiking till Nagarkot. The first stretch of the trek is an uphill stride through Sundarijal Shivapuri National Park. Chisopani trekking is classic to get the first time an experience of Nepali culture in a very short holiday. This trek is also right to get away from the jostling and crowding city life of Kathmandu towards the lap of nature and mountain surrounded landscape. Linking the best of nature with some typical local life, elegant Himalayan views, fascinating sunset and unearthly sunrise from Chisapani and Nagarkot, this hike makes for an epitome vacation in a matter of three days. The trip starts with a short drive to the Sundarijal bus stand, a standard hangout and hectic picnic spot in the north of Kathmandu. Within the walkway, falling inside the confines of Shivapuri National Park, this is a place of cool shades, tall trees, beautiful streams and tranquil atmosphere — all in remarkable contrast to the noise and crowd of the city. Leaving aside a few expenditures on the way, the hiking trail passes through the forest to Chisapani. The village also commands a lovely view of the great sector of the Himalayan range, which emits an unearthly glow in the setting sunlight. On the main route, we can see the Tamang community; we can taste Tamang dishes within the trek. When we reached the top of the village there are two ways to go for Chisapani, one is straight and another is uphill. On the routeway, we can outlook the meadow and pond. We can be lost around the pond and meadow for a while. Chisapani is 1st night stay of the Hiking.

Next day, All along the forest through Shivapuri National Park with only occasional expenditures, we reach Nagarkot, the most standard vantage point to the east of Kathmandu. In clear weather, a comprehensive portion of the Himalayas, starting from the Dhaulagiri in the west to Mt Everest and Kanchanjunga in the far East attach your eyes to them. Wake up early in the morning to view the sunrise. Only now do you feel the full vigour of the charming glow the Himalayan range displays, when the fresh rays of the rising sun strike it. Finally, you can either choose to take a hike to Changunarayan, The trek further continues towards Changu Narayan. The temple is a historical one and is also enlisted in the "World Heritage Sites". The sculpture and arts of this temple are really picturesque.

 Day wise trek:

This trek starts from the northeastern outskirt of Kathmandu. The first stretch of the ramble is an uphill walk through the rhododendron forest of the Shivapuri national park. After 4-5 hrs of the walk, we reach the almighty Mountain Sight point of Chisapani from where we can have handy sight of a lengthy range of Eastern Himalayas from Langtang to Gaurishankar Ranges.

On the second day, we stride past some ethnic villages and mostly through an opaque and beautiful forest, listening to the birds chirping and enjoying the view of the Himalayas. In the winter months we sometimes even meet wild fowls and sometimes even deer. The two days trek ends at Sankhu where we catch our vehicle for Kathmandu. Otherwise, for 3 days hike, we continue to Nagarkot, another famous Mountain Viewpoint on Kathmandu valley, stay overnight there and the next day trek to Changunarayan and drive back to Kathmandu.

Therefore, if you have a time of 3 days; you can trek Chisapani alongside Nagarkot too but you have 2 days then Chisapani and back on the way Sankhu only.
