The country was independent during the reign of Yalambarhang
The origin of the Kirats is believed to be with the origin of the earth. The four races are considered Caucasian, Negro, Dravidian and Mongolian. But, not really Mongolian. This is Kirat breed. There was no investigation into this. Due to the backwardness of Mongolian living, Genghis Khan of Mongolia invaded and destroyed Europe twice. Later, when writing history, the question arose as to who Genghis Khan was. The word Mongolian came into use after Europe documented him as the emperor of Mongolia. From that, the word Mongolian seems to have become popular. In fact, that does not seem to be the case.
That truth is proved by the book 'Himavat Khand' written in
Sanskrit. The book refers to the Kirats as people living in a snowy region. The
area called the snowy section is very large. In ancient times, the area known
as Nak Thepche or Mongolian was considered to be the area of the Glacier or
Kirat civilization. What can be proved from this is that the Kirat area was
very large. Based on this fact, there must have been many Kirats in the period
of history. Because this is civilization. To this day, there are only Limbu
people in Nepal who claim to be Kirats, and they are at least trying to save
their lives.
The story of Kirat's origin
According to Bahing Kirat Mundhum, the first human of Bahing
Kirats was born from the union of earth and sky. She was the first human woman.
His name was Ninirengma. She grew older. At the age of 16, she started
menstruating. He had a kind of restlessness. She kept running around. The
commotion did not stop. Then she reached a hill. The wind was blowing there.
She warmed the air. He became cold. Then she became pregnant. She also gave
birth to a woman. Her name is Marengma. Marengma also gradually increased. When
he reached the age of 16. She asked me how I was born. The mother explained
everything to her daughter. She told her daughter that she felt hot, cold, and
then pregnant. As soon as she heard her mother's words, she went to the
mountain to warm herself.
But, the wind did not come near him. Marengma came back and
said to her mother, "I also went to warm the air like you. The wind did
not blow beside me and I could not warm the air." He can't come with you.
'After discussing what to do next, his mother ordered him to find a boy and
marry him. At that time no one was human because of the murmur of creation.
Marengma looked up at the sky and saw Venus shining brightly. Marengma sent an
eagle to the sky to convey the news that she would marry Venus. As the eagle
flies away from the earth, Venus is too far away. And when the eagle reached
there, he found Jupiter sitting there. Garuda proposed marriage to Jupiter sent
by Marengma. Jupiter did not believe the eagle's news. And he said - I don't
like it, Marengma is much prettier than me. I'm sorry I have a sore throat. However,
Garuda insisted that it was you.
Jupiter said - I do not believe, if you say I will come. But
Marengma cannot insult me. Remind him well and tell Garuda that I will come for
one night only on the night of the full moon. After this promise was made,
Jupiter sent a gift of gold kayo eagle to Marengma. When Jupiter said goodbye
to Garuda, he told me to make good arrangements for Sirani when I came, so that
Marengma would not insult me at all. According to this advice, the eagle
returned to earth. He told all the news to Marengma. On the night of the full
moon, Venus comes, I have sent you this gift of gold. He told Marengma to make
a good bed that night. The same Jupiter was waiting for Venus in Mareng,
prepared according to the eagle's previous advice. But, Jupiter came, with a
sore throat. Marengma ran away in a rage when she didn't see the boy she liked.
Jupiter had already stipulated that I should not be insulted. It does not show
the weakness of Jupiter and does not show the weakness of Marengma.
The reporter has not told the truth. After the agreement is
violated, Jupiter and Garuda again consult and decide to punish Marengma. Their
decision is to dry the water of the earth and make Marengma drink the urine of
Jupiter to quench his thirst.
After drying up all the water on Earth, Jupiter urinated on
the trunk of a tree in the forest and returned to its orbit in the sky. The
water on the earth dried up. Marengma began to suffer from thirst. She walked
looking for the cool shade of the forest. One day, while searching for a cool
place, she found herself in the shade of a tree. A small fiesta bird came and
danced on a branch of a tree. The name of that fiesta is Jhirkili in Bahing
language. Marengma's water splashed on my body. I have been thirsty for many
days. When I asked Fiesta where the water was, Fiesta showed that he was at the
top of a tree. Jupiter had urinated on the same Todka. Marengma drank the same
Jupiter's urine water. Then Marengma became pregnant.
Bahing Tumlo or Mundhum believes that this is the origin of
Bahing Kirat. Marengma gives birth to a variety of species in nature during
childbirth. Plants are born for the first time.
Among them, there is a kandejyar called 'Kadam Chu' in
Bahing language, she gives birth. The mother cursed the mother-in-law for
scratching her limbs when she was born. That you only grow in the rough. That
thornbush is still found only in the rough. In the second stage, Marengma gave
birth to animals. Marengma's first son is a tiger, his second son is a monkey
and his third son is a man. She tried to marry Venus to give birth to a man who
would take care of this world. Unbeknownst to her, Jupiter gave birth to a
child. His goal was to give birth to people or Nininapcha. Not much difference
between monkeys and humans. So as soon as the monkey is born, Marengma puts a
gold garland on the monkey saying that this is the man. Which is called
Chichimala. After the monkey was given a gold garland, a better person was
born. The mother tricked the monkey and let the brother wear the garland.
Later, he lied that he could get food for free from his farm. Even today, when
monkeys are found, they shout. Bahing Kirats still believe that the Chichimala
was demanded back.
According to Bahing Mundhum, this was the first family in
the world to run a household of a mother and three sons. Since tigers and
monkeys were lazy, people had to do all the work. One day when a man was going
to pick fruit from a branch of a plant, he saw a tiger jumping in the shade.
Seeing that he was about to kill himself, the man shot the tiger with his bow.
In the evening, mother told people, is your brother a tiger? When I was about
to kill him, my mother saved him by chanting. Mother told the three of them to
stay together. The days were passing like this. One day, people left their
mother, tiger and monkey at home and went to work. When he returned home in the
evening, people did not see his mother. The man asked the tiger if he had lost
his mother. The tiger said he had gone to fetch water. After the mother did not
return for a long time, people went to the well to look for her. Mother was not
there. Then the man looked at the tiger and asked him to open his mouth. He saw
his mother's hair stuck in the tiger's teeth. It became clear to the people
that the tiger had eaten the mother. After this incident, it was suggested that
the three of them take a holiday. The advice contributed. There was forest on
the part of tiger, neighborhood on the part of monkey and house on the part of
man.
This is the first family event or civilization in Bahing
Mundhum. Scientist Charles Darwin also linked monkeys to humans. According to
him, a single-celled organism evolved from an amoeba to a dinosaur. And as it
evolved, it turned into a monkey. The idea that Darwin evolved from apes into
humans made Darwin world famous. It remains to be seen when the monkeys around
Pashupatinath will transform into humans to prove Darwin's theory.
