Government selected 100 destinations for a visit

Government selected 100 destinations for a visit, one of them is Temke (Mundhum Trail) from Bhojpur. This place is blissful, charming and beautiful. Kattike and Choklawa are in the lap of Temke. Terrain of Kattike and Choklawa; that villages are Choklawa and Kattike. APF IGP’s home lies down there. Recently APF camp also established here. Started trekking towards Temke; going to climb up Temke. Before we used to go on foot but nowadays, we are going by bike with friends. We will update all the information related to Temke and show you scenery which we can see from the top. Speedy wind blowing us. (Sound of wind) Now we are here in the border of Bhojpur and Khotang, we can view Diktel and many places from here. My right side is Diktel and left side Bhojpur. Temke is a rich/profuse place for tourist. Government listed out 100 tourist destinations, among them Temke also selected.  Nowadays it is easy access to come here, you can come here by any vehicles.

Mundhum trail, newly form trekking route get allowed by the Government. It has started from Temke, Maiyung to Silichung for the trek. This road goes to Pandhare. Base camp constructed for a tower. We can see Temke nearby. It’s hard for a bike to take a pickup. Started trek on foot till 1 or 2 hours. Let’s play now, Jerry brother. This is the frozen snow. We can hear the chirping sound of birds. We can find many types of herbs and animals in the territory of Temke jungle. Sometimes we can sight-scene animals and birds on the trek away. There are steps near to the top. Nearly we are here above 3100 m. Diktel, in the background. We can view six mountains above 8000m i.e.  Manaslu, Nuptse, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga.  We crossed halfway. Steep sloppy path. Before it was narrow path but later on made path wide. There are two temples in Temke. We will visit both temples. One is on the top and another in the cave. The exclusive viewpoints that offer the panoramic views of mountain ranges. We can view six mountains above 8000m i.e. Manaslu, Nuptse, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Previous years festival was celebrated here because of constructing tower it moved down.

There was a pond in this area because of constructing a tower, a historical pond vanished. According to forefather, there was a belief that long time ago in the pond’ edge there was salt around the pond and when the shepherd visited here, then he tasted the salt cube meanwhile the salt found around the pond vanished. The pond destroyed cause of an unsuccessful plan tower.  Festive area. Pandhare is there. Is that brother? Yes! We are going to take a blessing from god. The main temple. Here will be a big festival celebration twice a year. At the moment, here will be an immense crowded. Showing Diktel bazar. Next, we are going to take a blessing in another temple which is inside the rocky mountain. This temple is inside the rocky steep mountain, its main feature is adventurous worshiping.

Much crowded will be here at the time of festive.  Here is danger, they are feeling a thrill. Everyone can’t come in this area cause of steep sloppy. It is 3110m from the sea level. We can feel all the places down from this peak. Wow, beautiful bush.
